Info.co.uk advice

A healthy diet and nutrition programme is fundamental in achieving your training goals. The amount of information on this subject is vast and it is necessary to condense this information so that it is effortless for you to comprehend and absorb. Your personal trainer has the knowledge necessary for you to achieve your personal goals, eliminating the need to complete extensive personal research.

It is necessary to maintain your energy levels whilst training as well as structuring a diet that facilitates the accomplishment of your objective, weight loss for example. This is a finite balance; your trainer is equipped to calculate this for you. He or she will assess your complete lifestyle and advise you in a regime that would be more in line with altering your daily routine towards an overall improvement, permitting optimal performance.

Calorie counting
The basis for losing body fat is simple; if you use up more calories than you take in through eating and drinking you will lose weight, and that is it, no hidden secrets. It takes approximately 3500 calories to gain one pound of fat and vice versa, using up 3500 calories above those taken into your body will cause a reduction by a pound of fat. Therefore, to effectively lose body fat simply reduce your calorie intake and increase your calorie output. This is achieved through a correct diet and exercise.

High Protein with a Variable Carbohydrate Diet
Our personal trainers will work with you on a diet and nutritional plan that will give you the right amount of calories in order for you to achieve your personal goals, be it weight loss or gain. The diet will consist of foods that provide the nourishment necessary for you to become healthier and more energetic. You will be advised on how to shape your body efficiently through muscle toning or building. High protein, low (or high, dependent upon personal goals) carbohydrate, low fat diets with plenty of vegetables taken in a methodical meal timetabling regime is recommended to accomplish your personal goal strategy.

Burning Fat Through Aerobic Exercise
Correct diet helps to increase your calorie burning by altering your metabolism. For example: a total reduction of carbohydrate would alter your metabolism in such a way that a loss of energy would occur. This would reduce your ability and enthusiasm for training and hinder the process necessary to gain a more toned physique. Our trainers work with you on an aerobic exercise program to burn fat and increase your metabolism. The aim is to sustain the aerobic activity for 40 minutes at a time with an intensity of at least 50% of your maximum heart rate. A personal trainer will help you establish this intensity level and construct a program working toward achieving this goal in relation to your current fitness level. Your diet and aerobic program are the cornerstones of any toning process.
They are created by your trainer with you in mind and based on your current condition, goals, schedule, lifestyle, basically what will work for you.

Specific fat reduction
Our bodies gain and lose fat by way of its genetic make up. Experience and research show that the first, and usually largest, fat deposit areas are usually the last place that your body will lose it. So if you are holding a lot of fat in your midriff, or in your thighs, this is likely to be the last place you lose it. To help you accomplish your losses your personal trainer will provide motivation and create a structured program that helps encourage you through any difficulties that you may encounter in any specific area.

Obesity
Health risks arising from obesity include, heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, gallbladder disease, and prostate, colon and breast cancer. There are other mental down sides too. The market is awash with weight controlling drugs and products aimed at the grossly over weight. Limited losses can be made but many simply do not work. There is no time like the present to address this debilitating disease. The fight against fat is by no means an easy one. For chronically affected people it is a long, tough battle. There are no questions that the development of a new healthy eating and fitness lifestyle is more than helpful in winning this fight. Our personal trainers have a great deal of experience working with people in this group. If necessary we construct a program restructuring your lifestyle, while helping to provide the necessary motivation for its success.
